Mega Evolution is all about letting your Cobblemon tap into hidden strength during a fight. It doesn’t last forever, but you’ll see a big jump in battle power while it’s active.
How It Works
Some Cobblemon have a special form they can take once you meet two conditions:
- A Mega Stone that’s specific to that Cobblemon.
- A Key Stone (sometimes in the form of a Mega Bracelet) that you keep on your character.
Finding the Stones
Mega Stones and Key Stones aren’t exactly everywhere. You’ll probably need to explore unusual areas, finish certain quests, or talk to other trainers who might be willing to trade.
Steps to Mega Evolve
- Get Into a Battle: Find an opponent. Mega Evolution can only happen during a fight.
- Pick a Move: Before locking in the move, look for a small Mega Evolution option.
- Activate the Transformation: Click that option, then choose your attack. Once the turn starts, your Cobblemon shifts into its Mega form, often with better stats or new abilities.
Making the Most of It
- Study Your Cobblemon: Some forms boost defense, others get super-fast or hit harder. Pick moves that suit those boosts.
- Evolving: You can only Mega Evolve one Cobblemon per battle. Don’t blow it on an easy match.
- More About It: Try it out in casual battles with friends so you know the best time to evolve.
Mega Evolution is a new thing for Cobblemon showdowns. With the right gear and practice, everything is possible.
