1. Pokemon Species
Cobblemon brings a multitude of Pokemon species into the Minecraft world. Each Pokemon has its own unique characteristics, abilities, and moves, just like in the original Pokemon games. You can catch, train, and battle them, making them essential companions on your journey.
2. Biomes and Pokemon Spawns
In Cobblemon, different Pokemons spawn in different biomes. For example, water-type Pokemon are often found near rivers and oceans, while grass-type Pokemon thrive in forests and plains. You have to use the /rtp command and explore the different biomes of Minecraft until you find your dream Pokemon.
3. PokeBalls
You’ll need PokeBalls or purchase them from /shop to catch a Pokemon. Crafting them requires materials you gather from the world, adding a layer of resource management and exploration to your adventure. There are different types of PokeBalls, each with unique catch rates and effects, so you’ll need to set up your farms based on your target Pokemon.
4. Training and Battling with Pokemons
Training your Pokemon involves battling with the wild Pokemons, other trainers, or even with the NPCs. Battles are turn-based, similar to traditional Pokemon games. Winning battles earns experience points, allowing your Pokemon to level up and evolve, gaining new moves and abilities along the way. Also, some Pokemons (for example, Pichu) evolve based on your relationship level, which increases just by releasing him from the ball and exploring the world with your Pokemon. (every minute increases your relationship)
5. Gyms and Badges
Gyms are special buildings where you can challenge powerful Gym Leaders. Defeating a Gym Leader earns you a badge, shows bravery, and unlocks new abilities or items. Each Gym specializes in a particular type of Pokemon, so strategize your team composition accordingly.
6. Events and Rewards
The Cobblemon world is brimming with events, from seasonal festivals to special Pokemon appearances. Participating in these events can earn you rare items, exclusive Pokemon, and other rewards. Staying engaged with our awesome community adds an extra layer of fun and immersion. We also have a login streak and playtime rewards, random PokeBall loots around the world, random unscramble events, and much more!
7. Crafting and Items
Minecraft’s crafting system is seamlessly integrated with Cobblemon. You can craft various items like healing potions, evolution stones, and battle gear. Collecting resources and mastering crafting recipes is essential for progressing and supporting your Pokemon team, and also necessary for your PokeBall crafts.
8. Quests and NPCs
Cobblemon includes a range of quests given by NPCs scattered around the world. Completing these quests can earn you valuable items, rare Pokemons, experience points, and much much more. Interacting with NPCs and fulfilling their requests adds depth to the storyline and enhances the role-playing experience. It’s in the closed-beta phase right now but will be available very soon.
9. Community and Multiplayer
Playing Cobblemon.GG on a server brings a whole new dimension of fun. You can trade Pokemon with friends, participate in community events, and challenge other players to battles.
