Cobblemon Pokédex & Spawn Guide

Find every Pokémon on Cobblemon.gg. Learn where Pokémon spawn by biome, how to use Poké Snacks, and how to build spawn platforms for rare encounters.

Cobblemon Pokédex Overview

Cobblemon.gg features every Pokémon available in the Cobblemon mod plus additional addon Pokémon, totaling over 900 species across all generations. Every Pokémon in the Cobblemon Pokédex spawns naturally in biomes that match their type and habitat, making exploration essential for completing your collection.

Access your in-game Pokédex using /information to track which Pokémon you have caught and which ones remain. The Pokédex tracks all forms including regional variants, shinies, and special forms.

You can also buy and sell Pokémon through the auction house (/auction) if you need a specific species to complete your Pokédex.

Pokémon Spawn Biomes

Every Pokémon in Cobblemon spawns based on its type and the biome you are exploring. Different dimensions have different level ranges, making some areas better for specific Pokémon:

Overworld

Lower level Pokémon. Build your base here and explore nearby biomes for common species. Great for early-game catches.

The Nether

Higher level Fire, Ghost, and Poison types. Nether biomes have unique spawns not found elsewhere.

The End

Highest level spawns including Unowns (Lv. 13-100). Dragon and Psychic types are common here.

Resource World

Resets every ~2 weeks. Scouts (legendary and shiny Pokémon) spawn exclusively here.

Spawn Platforms for Rare Pokémon

When exploring the world, you may find platforms in the middle of nowhere. These are a way to force spawn certain Pokémon. For example, to find Gimmighoul (which cannot be bred), locate ruins on the map, build a platform at Y=250 directly above them, and wait for spawns.

For rare spawns, you may need to wait and defeat non-target Pokémon in the area so spawn slots are recycled. Patience is key for the rarest species in the Cobblemon Pokédex.

Poké Snacks - Cobblemon 1.7 Spawn Manipulation

Poké Snacks are a powerful feature added in the Cobblemon 1.7 update that let you influence which Pokémon spawn near you. You can combine up to three effects in the same Poké Snack using different berry ingredients.

The Overworld is divided into 4 shards by Shard Borders, each containing different biomes. Explore all 4 shards plus the Nether, End, and Resource World to encounter the full range of Cobblemon spawns.
